Mo started his dj-ing career at a remarkably young age during secondary school. He managed to secure his place prematurely in the rave scene, defeating the commonly mistaken identity of "Bhangra DJ", assigned to most Asian DJ’s at that time.

His experience of growing up in East London in the mid to late 80’s and from a young migrant background, has shaped his music and the places he has performed (see below) playing a key role in the British Asian dance scene, constituting of experimental Drum and Bass, break-beats, heavy bass lines with melodic undertones.

Mo’s rare combination of mixing hard beats with soft Eastern classical melodies has launched his career and secured his reputation as one of the leading practionners of urban experimental music.

Key influences: Classical Indian music, African and Japanese percussion, urban break- beats, Drum and Bass and soulful house with strong Asian flavours.

His debut album Asian Dawn, has been composed, produced and written incorporating all of the above influences, as well as formulating a live set that encompasses all of these genres in one space at one time, giving the audience a snapshot of music from all over the world.

England, Europe and US.

Festivals include: Glastonbury online 2001, Womad, Drum festival, Eclipse party, Notting hill carnival, Volcano, etc.
