profiles

early history shows ade and alex separately producing music using conventional trackers, synths and sequencers, collaborating on a series of music events in London, with a group of friends called VXSLAB.

ade had already started with generative music experiments, creating innovative 'sound-apps', published via lovebytes DSP2 and creative review magazine.

around then, alex started sending data straight into his synths MIDI port, making it scream. ade heard this and joined in with some sound apps. much caustic experimental music followed. slub started performing around london; the foundry, the rough trade RoTa, the ica and joel stern's "deriver" nights. now they have their sights set further into europe, having performed in amsterdam at 'sonic acts' and with forthcoming appearances in berlin, including at "club transmediale."

ade and alex build new software for every performance, making the sound grow richer, making people grin and if there's room, dance madly.
