Hive and The University of Liverpool School of Music present a very special evening of live electronica with:

ISAN (Morr Music) (live)
Over four albums and a slew of singles and remixes ISAN have made some of the most beautiful electronic music of the past 10 years. Robin Saville and Antony Ryan's releases are characterized by a warm analogue sound, shimmering soundscapes and simple melodic hooks. Their live shows at Sonar, Big Chill, Music For Airports and Benicassim have gained rave reviews and their remix work has included diverse artists from Müm to Solvent to Seefeel to Depeche Mode.

Their 'sound is an ethereal template of perfection - analogue electronics have very rarely sounded more soothing. Sublime' boomkat.com

Pedro (Melodic) (live)
Pedro AKA 24 year old James Rutledge is one of the rising stars of the electronic music scene. He distills an eclectic range of influences into a style which is both progressive and human, mixing the pastoral with the computerised. As James himself comments 'I was trying to take a hip hop aesthetic and expand the range of references to stuff like 20th century classical, jazz, 2 step, early electronic music - all the stuff that I get inspired by'. After releasing a set of well received EPs and an acclaimed collaboration with the singer songwriter Katherine Williams Pedro's recent debut album has more than lived up to his critical reputation.
