Netlabel Taster Session

Netlabel Taster Session: a night packed with electronic music stemming from the web based Netlabel format. Live and DJ performances will be offering samples of free Internet distributed music within the genres of experimental and minimal techno. Netlabel Taster Session is part of Threshold'06 and Node.London. The event will be an introduction to Netaudio'06 - London’s first Netlabel Festival taking place in September this year.

Participating Artists: The event sees live performances by Katzo, Sebastian Russell and Alex Fisher. Katzo (Katsuya Urushizaki) presents dub influenced experimental techno. His music can be freely downloaded from the netlabels Mindnet, Multi and After-Dinner. Online releases by Sebastian Russell are available from Minlove, Multi and After-Dinner and are musically set within warm electronica and minimal techno. Alex Fisher, in-house sound engineer and artist for After-Dinner, is exploring the boundaries of electronic house.

Support is given by the three house DJs of Netaudio'06: Chris Box, Pascal Opitz and Andy Sparks - who present an eclectic mix of music released through the medium of the internet. Special Guest is Joe Banks from Disinformation.
