SMALL TOWN BOREDOM + EAGLEOWL + PAUL GOODWIN

Lo-fi, alt-folk, slowcore. £4.

Saturday, September 27th 2008, 7.30pm - Upstairs at The Lion Pub, Stoke Newington, London
Address: The Lion, 132 Stoke Newington Church Street, Stoke Newington, London, N16 0JX.
(close to Stoke Newington (0.4 miles), Rectory Road (0.6 miles), Stamford Hill (0.9 miles), or take a short bus ride from Dalston Kingsland. Merchandise available.)

SMALL TOWN BOREDOM (Glasgow) - Fragile lo-fi songs set against a miasmic ambience that has drawn comparison to Low, Hood, Boduf Songs and Rivulets.

EAGLEOWL - Lo-fi post-folk three piece from Edinburgh, and a leading light in the current Scottish acoustic slow core movement. Eagleowl weave jangly guitar, double bass and violin to create a unique sound of melodic songs and melancholic instrumentation.

PAUL GOODWIN - A Cambridge folk hero, Paul Goodwin creates broken-hearted songs and lost classics.
