a thank you and a couple of invites

a big thank you to everyone who came along to the first monthly moshi night at the buffalo bar. for those who didn't make it, the bands were amazing. the crowd were beautiful (many still bearing glastonbury scars). the djing was eccentric and the conversation was random and slurred. shortwave set opened with a beautiful selection of off-kilter pop songs that grabbed everyone's attention. pete ingo showcased some more material off his forthcoming album. and we all loved it. damn that boy's getting good! and
chikinki. ah chikinki, what can we say... you stepped in at the last minute, played like you were headlining glastonbury and managed to blow everyone away. we love you. please play my funeral.

so now we know we can do it we're going to push our luck and try it again. coming up - moshigig02, 7th august featuring - The Hokum Clones and Hot Chip. don't think of it as a sequel, more a work of art in its own right.
