News from The Memory Band

news from Hungry Hill

Many thanks to those who came to see us at the Big Chill. The Times descibed us as an "unexpected highlight".
We have the following gigs coming up soon:

On Friday 13th August we are playing at the Blowout club in Manchester, our good friends Hot Chip will also be there.
full details here
August 21st will see us at the wonderful Green Man Festival, which I understand is practically sold out. It's a great line up. website here

Then on September 18th we have been invited to play at the "Homefires" two day event being organised by Adem and Eat Your Own Ears. The event takes place at the Conway Hall in London and the line up includes Bert Jansch, Al Sparhawk, Juana Molina and Adem himself. Full details can be found on our website:
right here

The album is now available and selling well. We have received rave reviews across the press and radio plays the length and breadth of the land. Rough Trade made it their album of the week. The word is out.
