Prolifica Records is a new imprint set up in collaboration with Gavino Prunas and Stefano Anselmetti of F&G Management.

Drawing from a strong dance background it intends to embark on a mission to explore the musical possibilities which are opening up in a "post-dance" era of ever increasing cross-genre contamination.

Prolifica Records, through its initial signings, aims to establish itself as a new breed of "underground crossover" label where the luxury of being able to let tracks grow organically from the streets into the mainstream is combined with a continuous monitoring of youth cultural trends.

It will pursue a wide musical policy (to include nu-dance as well as electronic rock, pop and jazz) putting musical values over and above stale considerations of genre...
