profile

We used to call swim a "posteverything" label but then we decided that was a good name for a mailorder business. I guess you could call us post-electronic. The label is run by that bloke from wire (Colin Newman) and his missus (Malka Spigel) and is entirely artist led (or maybe I should say art led). Swim has always been cross genre in it's approach (a long time before anyone else was). We get easily bored with one style and like to be involved with art which is exciting and forward looking. Our release pattern can be very erratic because we never release anything that we don't absolutely love....
