AUDIO: BIOS
LJ KRUZER (ai records, uncharted audio, wheels instead of hooves) (uk)
Surviving a childhood diet of ABBA, Def Leppard, Rick Astley and Russ Conway, LJ Kruzer has grown into a modern master of electropop and melancholy ambience, with releases on uncharted audio and label-of-the-moment, Ai Records. Blue notes and fat beats ... Equally at home dicing up the dancefloor or soothing the psyche, LJ Kruzer is all set for very big things.
FRED K.U. (dorp, moonpalace) (fr)
In the London circuit since 1999, Fred Shoeber comes from a French underground Techno background. While over here he's moved into playing a wide range of electronica, is a member of acclaimed local act Dorp and now brings us his own live act. 'Evolved music for elaborated people', he says. Anyone who's witnessed Fred's outstanding live shows in the foundry, and at moonpalace will know what to expect: soundscaping, breaks and razor-sharp turntable skills.
MINISTRY OF LOUD SOUNDSYSTEM (midrange) (uk, fr)
A rare excursion north of the river for these mild-mannered South Londoners. The sound is anything but: experience a bracing blast of ragga, hiphop, dsp and shards of white noise as battle weapons are deployed.

LONDON SOUNDSCAPE PROJECT
A slice of the last Foundry show became part of a London Soundscape Project broadcast. The project pulls in audiostreams from across the capital and collages them together. Well worth a listen, here: http://www.londonsoundscape.net/audio/lwsp22_2_04.mp3

BIOS : AUDIO
sebastien roux (F) (12k, apestaartje, t um') (live)
Sebastien works at legendary Paris electronics lab IRCAM where he's in charge of development in the room accoustics team. Beginning as a guitarist in various experimental post rock-ambient bands, he now produces low-key pieces of digitally processed guitar that brittle and burst with a spectrum of intricate detail. Understated, mesmerising work.
motion (UK) (12k, fat cat, term, t um', 8bitrecs) (live)
London-based Chris Coode makes stunningly subtle works out of sensuous vestiges of melody and digital space. Releases on 12k and Fat Cat focus on warm tones, lo-fi creaks and bass frequencies: beautiful low-volume listening music. Chris' set was one of the highlights of last year's London Headphones Festival, and the recent HighPointLowlife tour with O.S.T. and Si-cut.db.
recon (UK) (highpointlowlife) (live)
Under the Recon moniker, Chris is increasingly taking a different direction, going for a much darker deep dub sound reminiscent of Basic Channel and the Berlin school of stripped out techno.
duff parka (UK) (8bitrecs) (live)
Mysterious Scottish laptop wizard making possibly his first public appearance. Out of the bedroom and into the daylight: expect to hear the early stirrings of sonic genius.
plus decks + fx from slow sound system residents
iMax (UK) (grain of sound, ministry of loud): laptop piano lounging
albert (F) (8bitrecs, kabuki kore): drones
