A great venue has been sourced out for the 4th, right in the heart of Dalston .
This venue used to be an art deco cinema back in the day and is now being used as a snooker halll . it still maintains some of it´s original features though and we will be putting some magic into it with our own deco including some great visuals by Valero Doval .
I'm currently very excited by Valero's work . His work encompasses art , design and illustration with a portfolio wich includes work for various art magazines and publications including illustrations for the New York Times , artwork for various bands e.t.c.

With 17 releases under his belt as well as various remixes and appearance on mixes and compilations , a forthcoming album on K Soul's , " Kinda Of Soul " imprint ( The album is out in October ) ; is fair to say that Scott is a veteran in what he does .

A unique synthesis of Blues, Soul, Disco, House, and Techno music are echoed in both Scott Ferguson’s productions and DJ sets. His jazzy and soulful compositions, energetic club tracks and druggy slow-burners incorporate a blend of engaging rhythms with conscious themes. A perfect blend of awareness and unique style makes Ferguson stand on his own and is embraced by music lovers around the globe.

In 1994/95 Hungry and seeking knowledge, Scott Ferguson connected with local DJs at Zoots, The Sardine Bar, and warehouse parties at the Packard Plant and Bankle Building where Detroit’s electronic music sub-culture thrived. Attending raves and clubs on a weekly basis, Scott became immersed in the scene as well as starting his own collection of House and Techno records. He never looked back since .

2002 saw the launch of Ferrispark with the hit ep , „Dump Days . this ep went on to receive accolades from the press across europe and many parts of the world and won him fans left right and centre . those fans included some of the biggest names in electronic music - Louie Vega, Terry Hunter, Frankie Knuckles , Stacey pullen , Dj Hell , Terence Parker e.t.c. to name but a few .

Scott continues to dazzle audiences all over with a packed european tour in october , stopping over here @ Süd , Berlin , Holland , Belgium and many more cities .

Prosumer ( Berghain /Panorama Bar , Ostgut , Running Back , Playhouse )

Achim Brandenburg aka Prosumer has been a fervent collector of music for years . Resident at world renowned Berghain/Panorama Bar & has had a stint behind the counter at another Berlin institute ; HardWax .

Here is what Prosumer has to say about his sets and music in general :
" My heart is beating for early Chicago -Detroit techno records and for music thats similar and transports this feeling today . Generally i like producers who follow their feeling and who work on a personal style which caters for longevity , rather than a momentary kick . "

Prosumer is not only a dj but he is also a producer . he released his debut ep on Swayzak’s 240 volts label in 2004 then followed the smash hit " The Craze " in 2005 on Playhouse . Soon he was in demand for remix work . he released another hit ep on Gerd janson’s , Running Back imprint .
2008 saw an album by Prosumer and studio partner Murat Tepeli and he has since been ultra busy with dj & live stints in revered clubs such as the Rex , Robert Johnson , Fabric , Piping Club , Weekend , Watergate , Paradiso e.t.c.

Thanx so much for those who came out to support us and Rick Wade on the 4th of April .
The 7th of June sees us back in action and most importantly in our favourite venue .
This Top Floor Loft Style venue comes with a crazy 60's style lift ; in the E2 area . This is where we honed and nurtured what we do now & we've always had a special time there . my favourite time being around 5 am when the sun comes seeping through the window , with a handful of people still shuffling on the dancefloor with big smiles on their faces .Classic !

Music and guests wise ; we will be celebrating & presenting the talent on Uzuri Recordings and beyond .
Uzuri came to life last November with a rather tasty ep by Lerosa , which was followed by a heavyweight ep by the legend that is Move D .It seemed appropiate to invite both Move D & Lerosa to come represent what Uzuri is all about .

Move D

David Moufang aka Move D needs no introduction to any one with an interest in electronic music .One of the true pioneers and gems in the european electronic scene .Can this man do no wrong ??? It's seems not .With excellent releases also , on Compost , Workshops ,Philpot , Modern Love ; A recent killer 12" on Dial Records alongside Benjamin Brunn and shortly an album on Dial with benjamin Brunn . His ep on the youthful Uzuri has been the biggest release so far. Now in it's 3rd repress .Known for his impressive collaborations too , .Not only is he an outstanding producer ,lucky for us , he is also an excellent dj .On this occassion , expect the best in Deep House and Techno & what ever else that may take his fancy .

Lerosa

Leopoldo Rosa aka Lerosa has been causing somewhat of a stink with his excellent output .With his first release on Dublin's D1 label , quickly followed by excellent releases on Real Soon & Enclave Recordings , then followed an ep on ATC quickly followed by his ep for Uzuri .Then features on Germany's Debug Magazine , as well as Groove Mag soon followed and most recently , an article on London's Faith's Strobelight Honey Magazine .Not one to rest on his laurels , there are already ep's scheduled for release on Uzuri as well as the Styrax affiliated label ; Millions of Moments ; which has seen big records from Redshape , Aaron Carl e.t.c. as well as an ep on Real Soon .
The 7th of June will see Lerosa unveiling his Live Set to the public , for the first time ever .

We saw out 2007 with a storming party alongside the fantastic Dial Records crew.
Preparations are already under way for our first event for 2008

We are absolutely stoked to be hosting a 3 hour dj set from the Detroit legend , Rick Wade , who will be in the UK for the first time ever ,celebrating the launch of his forthcoming album ; "The Good , The Bad & The Deep " , scheduled for release on the Cologne based label , Yore Records.Rick Wade formed the highly sought out imprint , Harmonie Park , alongside another legend ,Daniel Bell .Until recently , Harmonie Park's output was near impossible to find or if you did , it could easily set you back £40 for an ep .Thanx to revered Berlin Record Shop , Hardwax ;Harmonie Park's catalogue is now being reissued . Harmonie Park , has released material from Theo Parrish , Mike Huckaby & Rick Wade .

More On Rick Wade :
One of Detroit's best kept secrets, Rick Wade has been producing late night tracks and tapping into the essence of deepness since '91. Known for their universal appeal and appearing on over 20 different labels worldwide, soulful, timeless grooves are his signature. Rick Wade began DJing in the mid '80's spinning classic disco and deep house material. Growing up in Buchanan MI, 1 hour outside of Chicago he was influenced by Chicago radio station WBMX and the Salsoul material and local stations that played the likes of Al Green and Isaac Hayes.

While attending the University of Michigan, Wade had the first house mix show on the college station WCBN called 'Journey to the Land of House'. Other presenters were impressed with his material and mixing skills and soon asked him to prepare mixes for their own shows. Some time around 1991 Rick was working on a mix for Brendan Gillen's 'Crush Collision' show and ran out of tracks that he wanted to include. Having produced hip-hop since the late 80s Wade turned to his studio to create a track that would fit the mix perfectly and hasn't looked back since. In 1993 Rick and Dan Bell started Harmonie Park to release house material .

Today, Rick Wade enjoys a reputation as one of the premier deep House dj's & producers in the world and anyone who likes deep,vibes should definitely find a chance to see him play .

We've managed to search high and low and we finally secured a rather special venue in East London ........ 10 Minutes from Shoreditch . I've been passing this building for years & often wondered what went on behind closed door . the mystery is now over ..........

Süd will be joining forces with Hamburg's finest , Dial Records , who will be returning for their only UK residency & an album to celebrate . Oh Yes we will be celebrating the release of Efdemin's , great , debut album , titled , ' Efdemin' , which will be widely available in the shops in May . Efdemin is an amazing dj too , the best in the Dial Camp .

Dial has consistently released some outstanding music in the last few years . One of the most , tightly programmed labels out there . Beautiful , lush , stringy & chordy music . Drawing a lot of influences from the motor city sound , whilst adding a fresh , modern detail to the sound .
Now at last , the label is receiving some well deserved props from across europe and further .
We are very proud to be the only promoters in London & the UK , to have showcased the wonderful work on this special label . This will be the 4th time that the Dial crew play @ Süd .

Peter Kersten aka Lawrence is the co founder of Dial Records , alongside , David Lieske aka Carsten Jost . He will be no stranger to those who have seen him play live or dj @ the past Dial showcases in the past @ Süd .This will be his 4th appearance @ Süd . Lawrence's work has consistently been praised by his contemporaries & fans alike . warm , detailed with such a beautiful melancholy . he has been in demand as a remixer , having remixed works by Martin L Gore ( Depeche Mode ) , Superpitcher , Actress , Aranda , Lusine , Antonelli , Turner , Move D , Portable , e.t.c. Some of this works on the recently released album , titled " Lowlights From The Past & Future " on Japan's Mule Electronic label .

This space is great and has a lot of history too . Originally opened as a sweet factory in 1880 . believe you me it's a winner . We will be opening up the smaller room for this occassion to really lock in the vibe . Our wonderfull visual artists , Brittski & Squint will be further enhancing the look & feel of the space , with their wonderful visuals .

It gives me great pleasure to be announcing this line up & to be heading back to one our favourite venues . This rather clandestine loft style venue , with a crazy lift has pretty much shaped what we do now . Many friendships were formed at this rather intimate venue & is the most requested venue in the 6 years that we have been putting on parties . We last visited this venue on halloween 2004 with a rather special live set by Frivolous in his skeleton Jumpsuit wielding knives & a phone .:) We have been itching to revisit the venue and finally we will be there .

The London based italian duo will be new to most on this occassion . Both really good engineers & rather passionate about electronic music .
