london artists the council flats of kingsbury (aka colin kavanagh) and lj kruzer (aka steve fiske) split this spanking new seven between them. the ‘flats lead cut is "dirty floor" - a bass-heavy industrial-jazz paranoia-inducing beast - while "life inside the magic ping pong ball" calls to mind stereolab. on the reverse, lj kruzer’s "since i got my computer" is a melancholic, minimal slice of ambient techno and "soccer dog" overlays a lofi computer game style backing with a sweet little melody. Definitely two artists you will be hearing a lot more from in the future.
