Just listening to this for the first time having got my hands on the promo... Nicely fresh and messy. A lot of mashed up DSP beats, with heavily distorted tunes... Sounds like 5dots has been searching through a lot of data files they aren't supposed to for interesting 'found' sounds. Some real 8-bit aesthetics here. Other comments from the room; "a bit hellfishy," "irritating but nice" and "ooh, a squelch." Something for those who like their music noisy, beaty and broken. Recommended. [read]
