Before you is an EP of varied odd instrumental delights. Not quite electronica. Not quite pop. Not quite mellow grooves….music that might be best described as twisted, but twisted what?

The Chap started as Johannes von Weizsäcker's solo side project while still playing in Karamasov, who released two albums of rather pretty krautfunkrockpost-something or other type music on Satellite Records. Originally planned as a release of 4-track recordings (for lack of more sophisticated recording equipment), "Fun" graduated into being aided by hard disk recording, which allowed recording and editing drumkits, string sections, saxophone quartets and other sound sources.
