Pickled Egg are proud to present the first new outing in 6 years from the legendary troubled Texas singer-songwriter. Daniel has composed and recorded more than 300 songs, released on some 15+ albums between 1980 and the present day. He’s gained many high-profile fans along the way - including Kurt Cobain, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Jad Fair, Sonic Boom, not to mention Simpson’s creator Matt Groening! Johnston has battled for 20 years with recurrent mental illness, and these songs bear the scars.
