Deeper Concentration

text

From its opening track 'What It Is' by Sole And JC, which features some drug induced and twisted segments from the 'Alice In Wonderland' story, Deeper Concentration requires just that - deeper concentration. Like its earlier counterpart Deep Concentration, this compilation features a selection of today's most experimental underground hip hop artists. Beastie Boys current DJ Mixmaster Mike contributes a track 'Schwartz Vs Aghaarta' as does DJ Spooky, who teams up with Organized Confusion on the track 'Murder By Syntax'. The highlights are really too plentiful to mention. Each track has some kitschy or kooky segment that you can't help but enjoy. When you hear the tracks on this compilation you begin to realise that there is a huge underground movement in the hip hop genre that is still going largely unnoticed. The reason why still remains a mystery. The fact of the matter is, hip hop is a constantly growing musical style. Never before have the boundaries of hip hop been so pushed as they have now. The proof is right here on Deeper Concentration.
