went to this

[ text about: Europa51 Launch Party ]

i went to this and enjoyed the first half. unfortunately i had to get going and meet my brother who was over for a night from norway after the films had finished so we could go get some food. the vibe was great - really chilled and friendly. and the films were both intriguing + the second one very amusing as well. the first film was a black'n'white vignette from the 60s, focusing on Soho in the 60s and narrated by the main protagonist, a mysterious german man. i confess i wasn't totally sure about what was going on but the soundtrack WAS cool and the imagery was strong.the second movie 'the top ten of everything' was a comedy which focused on the 'marketing man' - one of those blokes who seem to know soooo much trivia and non essential information - but can't really connect on a human level. this was funny, warm and its ending - the top ten people with strange names who were still successful was hilarious.
definitely recommend it...
