One day compilations like this will be as collectable as garage 7 inches featured in nuggets and pebbles collections. A series of not always as great as the group inspired by songs: Recycling Buzz does just that taking the energy of certain genres and recycling them through some varied results. Starts with the usual somber drones and clicks works up to some higher pitched sine wave variants and then levels off with Colongib's soundtrack which references early industrial like Nurse with Wound and FM Einheit in it's junk yard percussion and liminal beauty. Following Colongib's piece some smoother ambient glitch work takes precedence with Alejandra & Aeron leading the way till Eardum interrupts it with break beats ala Rashed Ali and a squealing sax. Again Colongib comes in with a sweet piece of stand out bliss around track 10 and Voodoo Muzak is be commended on making some clicks roar by with a force that could actually get people on the dance floor. Is the future of electronica somewhere in the gamut of styles in this album? No, but at the least you'll find a few new sounds here and there.
